Allestimento alquanto insolito e particolare per la sfilata di
Chanel durante la
Paris Fashion Week, cosa che non dovrebbe sorprenderci essendo
Karl Lagerfeld il direttore artistico. Il designer, infatti, ha ricreato nel celebre
Grand Palais un supermercato con tanto di corsie, cartelli promozionali e prodotti, naturalmente tutti "
chanellizzati", ma a rendere l'atmosfera ancora più surreale, è stato l'inizio della sfilata annunciato da un altoparlante.
Da qui ha inizio la magia: tutte le modelle, anziché sfilare sulle canoniche passerelle, hanno fatto la spesa con degli abiti
haute couture sotto i flash di tutti gli increduli spettatori; non solo, protagoniste del fashion show non sono stati, i decolleté, ma comode sneakers e stivali flat. I colori si sono alternati tra rosa tenue, giallo, arancione e verde, non è mancato il pattern metal, le tute da ginnastica (come quella indossata da Cara Delevingne), i tailleurs e i cappotti. E' stata una sfilata di grande effetto e decisamente "alternativa", ma che fine ha fatto lo stile di Chanel?
It was an odd and unusual set-up those of the
Chanel's fashion show during the
Paris Fashion Week, but being
Karl Lagerfeld the artistic director we couldn't be surprised. Indeed, the creative designer recreated in the famous
Grand Palais such a glamour supermarket with its aisles, its promotional advertising and products; of course all previously "
chanellized", but what made the atmosphere even more surreal was the fashion show's start announced with a loudspeaker. So magic began: all models have started doing food shopping wearing
haute couture dresses in the public eye of all the amazed spectators. It isn't enough: the main protagonists were comfortable sneakers and flat boots; the predominant colors were light pink, yellow, orange and green and, in the end, the metal pattern didn't miss together with the jumpsuits (like the one worn by Cara Delevigne), the tailleurs and the coats. It was such an impressive fashion show, definitely "unconventional" but where is the timeless Chanel style?
